2009 Newton Commonwealth Ladies League

Welcome to the 2009 golf season at Newton Commonwealth Golf Course. This year we will be running Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday Night Women’s Leagues. The league will start the week of May 3rd for a 15 week period until August 19th. There will be NO LEAGUE PLAY during the Memorial Day Holiday. Credits issued for 2009 ladies league must be used by December 1st , 2009. These credits can NOT be used for 2010, gift cards or 2010 ladies league payments or any other items. By signing up for the 2009 ladies league you acknowledge SGM’s rain check and credit policy for the ladies league. Please make sure to include the day and time and group you intend to play in. 2009 Newton Commonwealth Men's League

Dear Men’s League Participant: Our first year for the league brought us 26 league members. Most weeks showed great turnout for the leagues. Going into our second year we will be looking to be more proactive in how the league is set. There will be more weekly prizes and competitions. We would certainly like more involvement from everyone in the league so please send us your comments.

If you are interested in our men’s league, you may sign up by filling out our application, as well as our inner club application, which can all be found on www.ncicgolf.org. Please forward a check for a total of $350 for your league payment and inner club dues and send it to Newton Commonwealth GC, ATTN Albie Bargoot, 212 Kenrick Street, Newton, MA 02458 or go to: http://sterlinggolf.bizland.com/store/index.html to pay by credit card. If you pay online please make note of what day and time you wish to play. Please check out ncicgolf.org for both applications.

Rain checks will be issued according to the weather. If the weather is terrible all day the league will be canceled by 2:00 p.m. the day of play. If there is a chance of rain or thunder, then the decision will be made closer to the first tee time. Rain checks are not given if you choose not to show up for your league time. You may give your spot to someone else if you know that you will be unable to play. All rain checks will be added to your account in the form of credits to be used for golf or merchandise.

Credits issued for 2009 men’s league must be used by December 1st, 2009. These credits can NOT be used for gift cards or 2010 men’s league payments or any other items. By signing up for the 2009 men’s league you acknowledge SGM’s rain check and league credit policy.

A tee time will be assigned to you/your group for the entire season. Applications will be processed on a first come, first served basis, based on a postmark. Deadline for sign up and changes is March 15 th. Please read and complete the enclosed form.

Courses may restrict the day/time of play and the number of passports accepted on a given day. This information is printed on the course coupon in the Golden Passport to New England Golf. Golden Passport book coupons may not be used for tournaments, league play, group outings or other special offers or discounts. Passports will only be honored if presented intact. Course address and phone number is included on the coupon to assist purchasers making reservations.
